Awards Dinner Review
January was a great month for GBACC. The year started off with our Annual Awards Dinner. There was great attendance for the event which included speakers Maryland Delegate Rick Weldon and County Commissioner Jan Gardner. Dinner and dancing also made the evening all the more enjoyable.
Awards included:
Business of the Year - Beans in the Belfry
Best Business Innovation - Book Crossing
Outstanding Service Award - Trailside Outfitters
Community Impact Award - Citizen Newspaper
Certificates of Appreciation - Mary McCormack, Jerry Knight and Ellen Lerner
Awards were given based on the nomination forms submitted by GBACC members.

Constant Contact Guest Speaker
February's General Business Meeting included an informative presentation from Gina Watkins, Regional Development Director for Constant Contact. Ms. Watkins gave a very informative presentation of the great business benefits of using Constant Contact for all of your direct email campaigns. All the GBACC members in attendance were very excited to learn about Constant Contact with many members wanting to sign up and get started seeing there business grow.
