The minutes from the last meeting were approved as posted on the web.
Treasurer’s Report
David Swope, GBACC Treasurer, gave the expense and income statement. Ellis advised that the 2008 State and Federal Tax Forms have been files. Copies have been given to the treasurer. For a complete treasurers report contact the treasurer.
Membership:
The Brunswick Citizens advertisement directed at home and small businesses was discussed. The ad was approved and Ellis will do a final draft and present it to the board by email before it is sent to the Citizen.
Events:
The board ask Jerry to contact Debbie at Green Country Inn and ask if they could do the refreshments for the June 18th Business Card Exchange at Georges Mill Farms B&B. (After being contacted Debbie donated the refreshments for the event).
The October Railroad Days GBACC event was discussed. Ben will investigate information on a GBACC Tent that can be used at the festival and at other GBACC Events. Jerry will check to see if he has the GBACC banner at his shop. A committee will be formed soon to plan the activities.
Representatives of Main Street will be the speakers at the July GBACC Business Meeting.
