In the absence of the President, Phil Graves, Vice President called the meeting to order at 7:15 PM. Eighteen persons were in attendance.
The minutes of the January meeting were accepted as posted on the web site.
GBACC Treasurer David Swope was absent. Ben Mourad advised he had reviewed the 2009 Financial Records at the request of the Board and found them to be in good order. Ben gave the 2009 Treasurer's Report copies for file. For a complete Treasurer’s Report contact the GBACC Treasurer.
Membership: Rosemary Huf gave the Membership Committee Report.
Rosemary reported the committee is working on a GBACC Ambassador Program. More information on this program will be available at the next meeting.
Brunswick Main Street Music Festival Support: It was announced Brunswick Main Street has made a request for a donation from GBACC of $2,000.00 to help sponsor the June 19, 2010 Music Festival. Main Street Manager Patrick Kay spoke about the Festival and gave some general information on it. Hanna Politis told how the Festival could benefit GBACC Members and gave details on how the festival would work. Rosemary Huff gave the GBACC Boards recommendation to support the Festival at the $800.00 Art Sponsor level. After a lengthy discussion Diane Ellis made a motion, GBACC support the festival at the $2,000.00 sponsorship level. The motion was seconded and approved by a majority of members present.
Events/Activities: GBACC Liaison to the Frederick Chamber of Commerce Debbie Allison had to leave the meeting early so Jerry Knight advised members to read the next Friday bulletin for information on the Chamber’s “Celebrate Business 2010”. Christina May of Brunswick Crossing invited GBACC Members to attend the February 18th Business Card Exchange in the visitors cottage. She asked members to bring their advertising literature to be displayed in the cottage.
The GBACC Awards Dinner will be March 18th at Beans in the Belfry. Award Nomination Forms have been sent out and members were advised to send them back soon. The menu has not been selected so the invitations are not ready to go out.
Publicity: Robert Bell advised he will be taking over the Publicity Committee from Ellis Burruss. Robert gave a report on some changes in the publicity and he will have it available in a future Friday Bulletin.

Doug Kaplan, President of Sugarloaf Conservancy and Dick Ishler from CAKES were the speakers at the meeting. They discussed the PATH Program.
