The meeting was called to order at 6:35 pm.
1 - Minutes were approved as written.
2 - Dave gave the finance report. For information on the finance reports contact Dave Swope.
3 - Rosemary gave the Membership Committee report. She is making new membership packets. Phil was asked to add to the GBACC web site and member application: Non-Profit Annual Membership Dues – $35.00.
4 - Other Events: The monthly Business Card Exchanges will be as follows:
March 18 – GBACC Award Dinner 7:00 PM to
April 22 – Speed Networking – 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM
May 19 – Upward Enterprises, Inc, early hours 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM
June 17 – Grasshopper Garden & Patio 6:00PM to 8:00 PM
Trade Show – It has been suggested GBACC rent three tables at the Frederick Chamber of Commerce Trade Show in September. The proposal will be discussed at the next Business Meeting to see if members are interested in subletting table space at the event and if some will be willing to work the GBACC table. Information about the Frederick Chamber Trade Show will also be printed in the Friday Bulletin.
Member Directory - A proposal was made for a GBACC Member Directory. It would list only GBACC members and be distributed to the members. We would print about 100 copies and update it every 6 months for about $65.00 after the initial design costs. This proposal will be presented to the membership.
5 – Cheryl is working on the scholarship Program but did not have a report at this time.
The next Business Card Exchange is Thursday, February 18th at the Brunswick Crossing Welcome Cottage.
